Class 4 had a great time reading with Class 1.Class 1 showed Class 4 how they have been learning to 'Fred in your head and say the word'. They were amazed at some of the words that Class 1 could read, so much so that we are looking forward to making this a weekly visit.
We are inviting all parents and carers of pupils in Class 1 and 2 to a Read Write Inc – phonics information meeting.This is a great opportunity for you to understand the phonics programme we deliver here at Bridgemere and how you can help support your child at home with their reading. Wednesday 2nd
Thank you so much for all of your Harvest donations, on Friday the Head Boy and Girl went down to the local foodbank at delivered your very kind donations.
Our Head boy and Head girl cut the ribbon today officially opening our new running track around the school field. The children will certainly benefit from being able to use the field over the winter months and enjoy keeping fit and healthy; good for everyone's well being.
