Ethos Council

Our Ethos Council

At Bridgemere CE Primary, we are proud to be a church school where faith is at the heart of everything we do. Each class elects pupils to become members of our Ethos Council — a group dedicated to helping everyone in our school community enjoy worshipping God and living out our Christian values every day.

What We Do

Our Ethos Council plays a special role in nurturing the spiritual life of our school. Together, we:

Help to lead collective worship

Discuss worship and share ideas for how it can be even more meaningful

Choose worship songs that inspire and bring joy

Create and share prayers for school and church services

Reflect on our Christian ethos and think of ways to strengthen it across school life

Spot and celebrate children who are living out our current Christian value

Through their work, the Ethos Council help ensure our school remains a place where everyone can grow in faith, kindness, and community.
