It was so lovely to see Roy Broughton this week, he popped into school with a thank you card which said 'A big thank you children of Bridgemere for helping Irene Cartlidge receive over 100 cards on her 100th birthday. She loved all your cards which are now on the wall in her room. As an ex pupil of Bridgemere school she thought it was a lovely gesture'Irene was also thrilled with her card from the Queen Elizabeth II and just as happy to have a mention in the Manchester United football programme that week, it was an extra special edition with the return of Cristiano Ronaldo!
