What a great celebration we had today when we finally opened our new library.
The 'Jock Knight' library was renovated earlier this year and was officially opened by a local children's author, Colette Warbrook.
Colette shared her story 'Help! I've Lost my Lama' and reminded us that we are all story writers and illustrators how ever young we are.
Many thanks to our special guests: Andrew and Martin Knight, sons of Jock Knight, a previous Chair of Governors who did so much for the children at Bridgemere Primary School. Elizabeth Ford, our present Chair of Governors and Governor Jan Morgan. Emma Minshall and Naomi Moss who with many others do a fantastic job running 'Friends of Bridgemere', raising money for great causes for our children.
