Bridgemere CE Primary School achieved an exceptional result at this year’s Town Sports, finishing 2nd overall in our group against schools from across Crewe and Nantwich, many of which are much larger than our small rural school. Monday saw our pupils compete in the field events, followed by the track events on Wednesday evening, where they demonstrated outstanding determination, teamwork and sporting talent.
Our track results were particularly impressive, with Year 3 finishing 3rd, Year 5 finishing 3rd and Year 6 crowned track champions with a fantastic 1st place finish. Individually, our athletes secured three 1st places, four 2nd places and five 3rd places on the track. These performances helped us achieve 3rd place overall in the combined track and field competition, resulting in an outstanding 2nd place finish in our group.
This is a tremendous achievement for Bridgemere, and we are incredibly proud of every pupil who represented the school with such enthusiasm, resilience and sportsmanship.
