During lockdown Rev Helen announced that she is moving to be Vicar of St Mary Magdalene and St John Hucknall, in the diocese of Southwell and Nottingham. Hucknall is an ex mining community and it's a town ministry.Rev Helen has been the vicar of Audlem for 15 years and Wybunbury and Doddington for 9 years and feels now is a good time for the churches to have a new vicar and for her to have a fresh challenge.I know that she has loved being with us all and is very grateful for all our friendship and team work. We will all miss Rev Helen very much at Bridgemere, children at school this week will be making goodbye cards for her. If there are any children who are at home that would like to do the same, please come and post them in the post box by the main entrance so we can give them to her when she pops by on Thursday. I know that Church has put together a profile of the parish in order to find a new vicar and they will keep us posted to who this will be.
