On Wednesday afternoon Reception visited Bridgemere Farm as part of their Farm to Fork topic. We learned all about local and sustainable farming and how cows are milked from Farmer Ed and his team.
The cows are Farmer Ed's farm are outside all year and we can see some of them in his fields from the crossroads by school up to Bridgemere Garden Centre. We met the cows and learned all about the food they eat before assisting in milking them in the milking palour.
After that we sat down to have some milk and cheese before returning home. We have an amazing time on our visit.
