Bird spotters...

Class 1 have been doing a bit of bird spotting today! We noticed a hole in our mobile and watched a bird come and go. We studied it for a while and decided there must be a nest inside and the bird was feeding its young. When we got inside we used the internet found out it was a great tit because of its black markings on its head and we listened to its call. Not only did we see a great tit, a robin came to say hello and we noticed blue tits nesting in one of our bird boxes. It is so lovely to see and hear all the birds this time of year, I wonder if they are enjoying all this rain!
