Special Educational Needs and Inclusion
Bridgemere CE Primary School & Nursery is an inclusive school. Staff across all year groups use a wide range of strategies and resources to include children who have special needs or disabilities. These include provision for children with emotional, social and behavioural needs as well as academic. Nurturing is embedded throughout the school curriculum and where required, some pupils may follow a more tailored and personalised curriculum based on their own individual needs.
Our SENCO is Mr Simpson and our SEND Governor is Mrs Percival. If your child does have additional needs, our SENCO will work with you, the class teacher and your child to ensure that their needs are being met and that they are able to achieve their full potential. Sometimes, where it is felt to be of benefit, we will approach outside agencies for further advice and support.

If you would like to arrange a meeting with the SENCO, Mr Simpson, to discuss your child's needs, please complete a 'Request a meeting with the SENCO' form and return it to the school office. You will then be contacted to arrange a meeting.
