Welcome to our Governors’ Page
The Governing Body This Page is Currently being Updated
Mrs Elizabeth Ford - Chair of Governors
I am Liz Ford and I joined the Governing Body of Bridgemere in 2017. I am a Diocesan member which means I have been appointed by the Church. I am also a director of RLLAT
I have been involved in governing for over 20 years, initially as a parent governor at Acton C of E School then as a community governor. I also twice held the post of Chair of the Governors at that school becoming a Vice Chairman of the Board of Directors when it joined with Calveley School to form Real Life Leaning Academy Trust. However my involvement with Bridgemere dates back even further as, along with my two sisters, I was a pupil at Bridgemere! My father was also a governor there so I have a great deal of affinity to this lovely rural school. Along with the other governors and staff I am committed to seeing Bridgemere continue to improve to ensure that all its pupils get the education they deserve.
Mrs Jan Morgan - R.E and Collective Worship Governor
I am Janet Morgan a retired teacher. My own children attended Audlem School and I was a parent governor there for several years. I was asked by Rev Helen Chantry to be a church representative here and have been a member for 6 years. I try to spend at least one morning each week in school assisting in a classroom. This helps to keep me aware of the developments in education as it is constantly changing. Through Church I am a member of a team working on "Open the Book" bible assemblies and we take these to Bridgemere, Audlem and Stapeley Primary Schools once each half term.
I am on the Education Committee and am a link governor for Worship and RE.
Mr Richard Lewis - Health & Safety and Parent Governor
I was elected parent governor in December 2017, since then I have enjoyed being a part of an active governing body and am keen to support and assist in any way that is required. I am also currently the Health & Safety Governor. My two children attend the School and are having a fantastic time.
I work for E.ON supporting public sector bodies in developing programmes across a vast array of building types; including Schools, to reduce energy usage resulting in cost and carbon savings.
Mrs Sarah Willington - Data Protection and Staff Governor
I joined the school in December 2008 as the Early Years Teacher in Class One. I have been on the governing body since February 2011. My terms of office is until 17/02/19. I am the deputy safeguarding lead and link governor Cared for Children. I am the PE and EYFS coordinator. I am on the Education Committee.
Mrs Sam Foyle - (Doddington Parish County Council) Behaviour and Collaboration Governor
